By accessing or using the World of Tabs website and services available at worldoftabs.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operators of World of Tabs. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

World of Tabs is an online viewer and player for Guitar Pro tablature files, powered by Tensorial. The Service allows users to browse, search, and play tablature files within their web browser. No files are sold or distributed by the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable minimum digital age of consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to access, view, and use any tablature content displayed through the Service. World of Tabs does not grant any copyright licence to the underlying musical compositions.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation;
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its servers, or related systems;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Service in a manner that degrades its performance for other users;
• Use the Service to reproduce or distribute copyrighted tablature files without holding the necessary rights;
• Engage in any conduct that is harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive toward other users or the operators of the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The software code, design, trademarks, and original content of World of Tabs are the intellectual property of their respective owners and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. Guitar Pro tablature files displayed on the Service remain the property of their original creators and copyright holders. World of Tabs makes no claim of ownership over any tablature content.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the World of Tabs name, logo, or other branding without prior written permission.

6. Third-Party Services and Advertising

The Service integrates third-party tools including:

• Google Analytics – for anonymous usage measurement;
• Google AdSense – for serving advertisements.

These services are operated by third parties and are subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

We make no representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, legality, or reliability of any tablature content available through the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, World of Tabs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless World of Tabs and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Users located in the European Union may also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of their country of residence.

Any dispute arising from these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which the Service operators are established, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
